On June 8th, Girls’ Generation began the “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace” tour with a thrilling concert in Seoul’s Olympic Park.
The concert’s setlist proved similar to that of Girls’ Generation’s second arena tour through Japan and featured songs from Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese album, such as “Animal”, “I’m a Diamond”, “T.O.P’, and “FLOWER POWER”, as well as songs from their Korean discography, including “Gee”, “Tell Me Your Wish”, “Oh!”, “Hoot”, “The Boys”, “I Got A Boy”, and many others.
Girls’ Generation also gave the first performance of “LOVE&GIRLS” and threw in several surprises by singing “Promise”, “How Great Is Your Love”, and a ballad version of “Baby Baby”, as well as a special performance of “Twinkle” with all nine members of Girls’ Generation.
The second world tour concert in Seoul will take place tonight, June 9th. The next stop for Girls’ Generation’s world tour will be in Taipei, Taiwan on July 20th and July 21st.
