The hosts of 8th MBC Republic of Korea Film Awards told the audience to smile to SNSD's performance right before the performance.
On the 18th, 7PM, 8th MBC Republic of Korea Film Awards raised its curtain. SNSD and Song Yun-ah performed for its opening.
The most attracting topic of this event was that MBC showed a message "Please smile while watching SNSD's performance" on the screen.
"Please smile" was probably shown in order to prevent the incident that happened at the DaeJong Award from happening again.
Last month at 29th, SNSD performed their new song, HOOT, at the DaeJong Award. However, they received a cold response from the famous actors and actresses.
