Girls’ Generation’s third Japanese album, “LOVE&PEACE“, recently ranked first on Oricon’s December 23rd weekly album chart by totaling 129,000 sales. Girls’ Generation’s self-titled debut Japanese album, released in June of 2011, also ranked first in the weekly album chart, making Girls’ Generation the first Korean girl group to have two albums place first on a weekly album ranking, surpassing KARA.
The successful “LOVE&PEACE” album totals twelve songs, including past singles such as “GALAXY SUPERNOVA” and “LOVE&GIRLS”, while also debuting six new songs. Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation’s third Japan tour will begin next April, and the girls’ “Märchen Fantasy” concert for “SMTOWN Week” will take place this Sunday on December 22nd.
