Avex Group announced on November 24th that they had signed exclusive contracts with Super Junior and f(x) and that Tohoshinki would resume activities under them.
With almost all of SM Entertainment‘s artists now under Avex including BoA, J-Min, Super Junior, Tohoshinki and f(x), Korean and Japanese media have been speculating that Girls Generation may be moving to Avex as well.
Girls Generation debuted this year in Japan with their first single, “Gee,” under Universal Music Japan and then released their second single,”Genie.” Both songs went gold and placed high on Japan’s prestigious Oricon weekly singles charts.
