After first entering the military on October of 2008 as an active duty soldier, actor Ohn Joo Wan completed his service of two years and two months on the morning of December 3rd.
The actor was met by fans and reporters, and was asked to express his feelings about his service. Ohn Joo Wan then delivered a surprising shoutout: ”To a soldier, girl groups are like their shoulders. I know that everyone says this, but I’d like to thank SNSD, KARA (who recently made a comeback), Rainbow (who ended their promotions), and 2NE1. It was because of them that I managed to make it.”
He continued, “We always watch music programs, and we don’t really watch dramas because it makes us feel like we want to be there. Recently, however, our barrack started watching ‘Secret Garden.’”
When asked why, he replied, “It is quite fun.”
