SNSD fans announced leader Taeyeon’s 23rd birthday – through a “taeng-tan-jul” newspaper ad.
SNSD fan cafes Naver “Sister”, Daum “Hwasoo Eunhwa”, and Taeyeon’s fan cafe Naver “Figh-taeng” announced her Taeyeon’s 23rd birthday on a Sports Chosun advertisment.
“Taeng-tan-jul” is the nickname for Taeyeon, combined with “taengoo” and birthday, creating the fan-made term for SNSD.
This is not all the Taeyeon fans did. They donated, did community service, and more to celebrate Taeyeon’s birthday.
Meanwhile, SNSD will be releasing their Japanese song, “Mr. Taxi” in April.
