Earlier, it was reported that the release of "MR. TAXI/Run Devil Run" would be delayed to the 27th of April due to the Tohoku Pacific Ocean Earthquake.
In a news update on 8th April, it has been announced on the official Girls' Generation Japanese website that proceeds from the "MR. TAXI/Run Devil Run" single would be donated to the Red Cross relief fund, in order to provide assistance to the victims of the earthquake.
Girls' Generation and staff once again offered their sincerest sympathies to the victims, in the website update.
This is not the first time SM Entertainment has shown their charitability, having made prior contributions to the Red Cross.
