SNSD, TVXQ, Big Bang, CN Blue, After School and 4minute are among the popular artistes who will be taking part at the super concert in conjunction with Jeju Island’s bid to be selected as one of the ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature’.
On April 20th, Visit Korea Committee Chairman, Shin DongBin said that the commemorative super concert will be held at 3.40pm KST, April 24th at Halla Gymnasium in Jeju Island. This concert which will be televised live through SBS features 20 groups, including those mentioned above.
With the participation of top Hallyu stars, this event attracts not only domestic (Korean) tourists but also tourists from Japan, China, South East Asia as well as foreign media personnels to Korea.
Chief of the Marketing Division of Visit Korea, Han KyungAh said, “Taking advantage of Kpop’s popularity around the world, this event aims at promoting Jeju and Korea to the world”.
