YG Entertainment announced on Friday that 2NE1 will perform a cover track of “Naeng Myun” with comedian Park Myung Soo during their first-ever solo concert scheduled for this August. “Naeng Myun” is a special track originally performed by SNSD’s Jessica and Park Myung Soo during the 2009 “MBC Infinity Challenge—Olympic Highway Duet Song Festival.”

YGE said in a statement, “Comedian Park Myung Soo will appear as a special guest with Big Bang’s G-Dragon at 2NE1’s first solo concert ‘Nolza.’ The two will perform ‘I Cheated’ with Park Bom. Also, Park Myung Soo will sing ‘Naeng Myun’ with one of the 2NE1 members.”
Produced by E-Tribe, “Naeng Myun” features Jessica’s sprightly vocals and cute choreography, so many fans are wondering who from 2NE1 would best fit in the role for a cover track. YGE said Park Myung Soo’s duet partner for this special performance will be revealed at the concert.
2NE1’s first solo concert will take place in Seoul on August 27th and 28th. The group has repeatedly expressed their desire for a solo concert since their debut. With the help of G-Dragon and Park Myung Soo, 2NE1’s first solo concert is anticipated to be a true summer spectacular, as they are also planning for a number of other special stages. This year 2NE1 has released a total of three new singles so far, including “Don’t Cry,” “Lonely,” and “I Am the Best,” which have all topped Korean music charts.
