A nine-member girl group that has been called the "Japanese SNSD" is debuting in Japan. They will debut this October and are gaining a lot of interest from Korean netizens. Japan's Flower performed on their first showcase on July 26th. This showcase was called the "E-Girls SHOW" and occurred in Tokyo. Five of its members were chosen from an audition that was attended by at least 30,000 people. The other 4 members were backup dancers for the boy group EXILE.
Although it's too much to say that these girls are the "Japanese SNSD" just because the group has 9 members, the comparisons are attracting interest all around the world. The leader of the group is 18 year old Erina Mizuno. The youngest, Nozomi Bando, is 13. This girl group will make their official debut on October 12th with the track "Still."
They are expected to be a huge success through their powerful performances and the fact that they will be participating in a variety of activities from modeling to acting. Just as EXILE and girl group Happiness, Flower will concentrate on being a "Dance Group" meaning that a few members will be performers as well as singers, while others only dance. This concept has been working for quite a few groups during the years, and is sure to give a fresh performance every time.
