In just over a week, Sooyoung, who fractured her tailbone from a traffic accident, was discharged from the hospital.
On September 6th, SM Entertainment told Star News, “Sooyoung was discharged from the hospital last weekend. Now, she is receiving outpatient treatment.”
The representative added, “Although she has been discharged, she has not recovered completely from the injury. For now, she will be focusing fully on the treatment.”
In the morning of August 28th, Sooyoung was involved in an accident while on her way to a volunteer service in Cheonan due to the negligence of the driver on the opposite lane.
Due to the accident which injured her sacrum, Sooyoung was admitted to a hospital in Seoul. Fortunately, the injury was not serious, much to everyone’s relief. However, as Sooyoung is still focusing on her treatment, she was not able to participate in the ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo Special Edition’, which was held from September 2nd to 4th in Tokyo Dome and other events for the time being.
