It was recently posted on the Japanese mobile fansite that Taeyeon would be appearing at a special event to help promote “Athena: Goddess of War”, a popular Korean drama that is set to air in Japan on November 30th. Taeyeon is reported to be performing “I Love You”, which is the main theme song for the drama.
“Athena: Goddess of War” is a spin off from the 2009 hit, “Iris”, and the story is about South Korea wanting to unify the Korean Peninsula using their nuclear energy program.
The event will be held at the Saitama Super Arena, and Osaka-Jo Hall, on January 7th and 9th respectively. For each respective day, two shows will be held, one in the early afternoon and one in the evening.
Also appearing at the event are the entire main cast for the drama, label mates Super Junior, and SHINee.
Apart from Taeyeon, the other artists who participated in the OST album were TVXQ, Kangta and BoA.
