On November 20th, Girls’ Generation finished their promotion of “The Boys” on SBS Inkigayo.
Fans packed the SBS studio to show their support for the girls’ last performance of “The Boys” on Inkigayo, surrounding the stage and waving pink balloons as they cheered.
After the performance ended, fans lamented the end of this promotion. Many have been enthralled by the constant outfit changes and powerful stage presence of Girls’ Generation.
It’s been a very successful run with “The Boys”, showing how popular Girls’ Generation is in their home country. The girls took home the triple crown on M!Countdown and Inkigayo, as well as winning four Music Bank K-Charts in a row for a total of 10 wins. Since they had already won the triple crown last week on Inkigayo, they were ineligible for the Mutizen award on tonight’s show.
Quite a few fans have been saying that “The Boys” is now their favorite concept for Girls’ Generation with the varying outfits, strong choreography, and killer vocals. How does “The Boys” promotion measure up for you?
