SM Entertainment recently announced that SNSD will continue their 3rd album promotions until March of 2012 with a brand new follow up track, "Mr. Taxi".
The girls made an official comeback this October with their 3rd album title track, "The Boys". From December onwards, SNSD will conclude performances for "The Boys" and begin promoting their follow up track, "Mr. Taxi".
SNSD will be performing their first stage of their follow up track this coming December 2 through KBS 2TV's "Music Bank". At the same time, the girls will also be working hard to prepare numerous special stages for the upcoming year-end music show ceremonies.
"Mr. Taxi" was first released into the market as a Japanese single back in April. The song proved to be a huge success as it earned a first place ranking on the Oricon Daily charts. Due to the immense popularity of the song, SM decided to produce a Korean version and add it into the group's 3rd full album.
Meanwhile, SNSD's title track "The Boys" also showed to be a mega hit in itself. The song earned 1st place a total of eleven times on music shows; five times on "Music Bank", three times on SBS's "Inkigayo", and three times on Mnet's "M! Countdown".
