The ladies of SNSD who are standing on numerous stages all across Asia have captured the hearts of their Japanese fans not only with their music, but with their appearance as well.
According to the Oricon chart, SNSD’s first Japanese photograph collection book ‘Holiday‘ seized the #1 spot on the book sales ranking chart under the photograph collection category.
The photos were a collection of the girls enjoying leisurely time off, and it sold 17,000 copies the first week after going on sale on November 30th. In overall book sales ranks, it ranked at #18.
Meanwhile, their first full-length Japanese album ‘Girls Generation‘ was released on the 6th and has sold more than 850,000 copies worldwide to date. The re-packaged album drops on the 28th and collectively they are predicted to sell over 1million copies of the album.
The girls attended Fuji TV‘s ‘FNS Music Festival‘ on the 7th, and will be rounding out the year at the NHK ‘Red & White Singing Battle (Kohaku)‘ on the 31st.
