On December 21st, the songs that Girls’ Generation, Kara and TVXQ are going to perform at Japan’s most prestigious year end music festival NHK’s ‘Kouhaku Uta Gassen’ were revealed.
From the list of songs to be performed by 55 artists at the event, TVXQ who will be participating at ‘Kouhaku Uta Gassen’ for the 3rd time will be performing ‘Why?’ which was released in January this year.
Girls’ Generation on the other hand, are looking to heat up the event with the title song of their Japanese debut single ‘Genie’ released in September last year. Kara will be presenting their ’2011 Special Medley’.
Meanwhile, the list of appearances is expected to be officially announced around December 27th. This year’s NHK’s ‘Kouhaku Uta Gassen’ which carries the theme ‘Let’s Sing for Tomorrow’ will kick off at 7.15pm to 11.45pm KST on December 31st and it will be broadcasted on both TV and radio channels.
