Girls’ Generation’s music video for the Korean version of “The Boys” has reached 50 million views on YouTube. Released on October 18th last year, the music video has proven to be a hit with its powerful music and choreography, as well as the individualized outfits worn by each of the nine members. ”The Boys” was also Girls’ Generation’s first introduction to the American public with their television debut in January, where they performed the song on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Live! with Kelly”.
“The Boys” is now the fourth Girls’ Generation music video to surpass 50 million views on YouTube. “Oh!” is at 52 million, the dance version of “MR. TAXI” at 55 million, and “Gee” tops the list with 78 million views as the most viewed K-Pop video on YouTube.
