SNSD’s 3rd Mini Album’s title track “훗(Hoot)” will be unveiled on October 25th and the countdown to their domestic activities in Korea begins.
On October 22nd, a representative from SM Entertainment said, “At 10pm on October 25th, fans will be able to listen to the new mini album’s title track ‘훗(Hoot)’ as it will be revealed on Melon, Bugs, Dosirak, Cyworld and various music sites”.
The title track “Hoot” represents the sounds made when one laughs. The rhythm of the song and the sounds of guitar offer the retro feel to those listening to it. The lively voices of each SNSD members add more charms and varieties to the song.
For the promotional activities of the new song, the girls have undergone a transformation from their previous concepts. Since October 19th where the first sets of teasers were released through their official site, the girls’ new “Bond Girl” or “Retro Power Girls” concept have received a lot of attention and interest from various parties.
On SNSD’s comeback, SM Entertainment commented, “Whenever there is a new SNSD release, people will take note of their songs, fashions and performances. We are looking forward to the new activities (for the new mini-album) which will definitely create a ‘syndrome’ to the music industry and also to the public as a whole”.
SNSD’s 3rd mini album “Hoot” is scheduled to be released on October 27th and the girls will be making a comeback on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on October 29th.
