The nine members of Girls' Generation are going to be featured on the cover of the May 2011 issue of Marie Claire Korea. In a special twist, there are going to be nine different versions of the issue, with each one showing a different member for the cover photo. It is the first time that all nine members will have individual covers in this manner. Marie Claire Korea said that they expect fans to have a strong reaction and that they will be "fighting to buy the magazine". According to the stylist, the visual concept of the photo shoot was "purity".
