‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’, postage stamps that features Girls’ Generation, will be sold in the coming August.
According to KoreaPost, “‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’, designed and sold by KoreaPost, will be the first celebrity postage stamps in Korea. We chose Girls’ Generation as our models because they are the center of global K-Pop wave.”
The postage stamps are also designed as a five-year anniversary special for Girls’ Generation. It includes each members’ photo from their album ‘The Boys’ along with their signatures, as well as Girls Generation’s past album jacket images. It has 14 stamps in total.
‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’ will be sold for 20,000 won and it can be seen in the ‘Korean Postage Stamp Expo’, which will take place from August 9th to August 13th, at Seoul Central Post Office as well as approximately fifty central post offices and SamSung Coex.
A representative of KoreaPost has stated, “We expect the Girls’ Generation stamps to broaden Korea’s culture as well as the Postage culture.”
