SNSD’s Jessica will finally make her grand appearance in drama “Wild Romance,” starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young, on the seventh episode, scheduled to air January 25. She plays Kang Jong Hee, Park Mu Yeol’s (Lee Dong Wook) first love, who’s described as a beautiful girl with an unpredictable personality.
Many of the drama’s viewers are curious to see how her presence will complicate the developing feelings between Mu Yeol and Eun Jae (Lee Si Young). Additionally, fans are hoping that Jessica will boost up ratings for the drama. Since its premiere, “Wild Romance” has been struggling with low single digit ratings, falling behind MBC’s “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” and KBS’s “Please Take Care of Us, Captain.” All three dramas premiered on the same day, January 4. Unfortunately, January 25 is also the date when the adult cast (Kim Soo Hyun, Han Ga In, Jung Il Woo, and others) of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” officially take over the reins, raising doubts that “Wild Romance” will see an increase in ratings.
“Wild Romance” is a romantic comedy about a judo-athlete-turned-bodyguard Yoon Eun Jae and baseball player Park Mu Yeol. Through a series of unexpected events, Eun Jae becomes Mu Yeol’s bodyguard, and their relationship develops as they bicker and fight over their clashing personalities.
“Wild Romance” will air its sixth episode tonight, January 19, on KBS at 9:55PM KST.
